My kennels are all kitted out for my dogs comfort and go beyond the required regulations we are bound by. All sleeping areas are heated and all kennel runs are covered so our dogs are protected from the weather.
Each sleeping area has sealed heavy duty rubber stable mats on the floors then on top of this we provide a thick layer of bedding, all cleaned on a daily basis, 365 days a year. When the weather is nice the dogs are out enjoying several gardens we have for them to have fun in. If it’s cold and wet, we also have other heated shelters. The youngsters don’t run outside for too long with the adults, whilst they are still growing and developing we do not over excercise them.
Retirement
Some of my dogs stay with us when they retire until they cross rainbow bridge.
Some of my dogs go off to customers that have bought numerous pups from us in the past, whilst they still want a dog, some no longer want to go through the puppy stage, so one of my dogs is ideal as our customers know how well socialised my dogs are!
Some of my dogs will go to a friend or a family member for their retirement, those who have our retired dogs keep in touch regularly with updates, we are all one big family.

Our Business as Breeders
We do run a breeding business but my dogs will always come first, their well-being and happiness is the most important thing to our family. All my dogs are cared for to the highest standards, plenty of daily exercise and enrichment, training, grooming, washing, socialisation and of course, plenty of love.
The youngsters attend puppy training classes. My dogs also go off to fun dog shows as well as kennel club dog shows and we have regular visitors who help with play and exercise.
All my dogs are vet checked yearly when they go for their booster vaccinations. All my dogs are also given a kennel cough vaccine to prevent them from picking up this ailment from other dogs while they are out and about. All my dogs are wormed regularly to keep them healthy.
Like every business there are many hidden costs people do not always realise such as waste disposal, business rates and taxes, insurance, vetinary bills, medication, licence and renewal fees, transport, litter registration,- the list goes on!
Food and Bedding
We buy our dogs food by the pallet, we can get through £1500 of food every two months! this cost does not include all the nice tasty bits and treats that go alongside their complete food. We use the best suppliers and keep their nutrition balanced to ensure they are always fit and healthy. I use news papers to bed our puppies on as this is as it’s disposable and it’s warm and hygienic for the pups. I buy this bedding by the pallet as required.
Being Licenced
Having my breeding licence means that I follow all the rules and regulations set down by the government.
This covers every aspect of what I do, the care of my dogs, my kennels, my whelprooms, what age dogs are bred from, how many litters a female can have in her lifetime, (males have no limit as to how many litters they can father in there lifetime), hygiene, feed and how it’s stored etc., We are inspected annually and confident of our high standards that we can be unexpectedly inspected without notice.
